Hate to say it, but it's been done before.
There was a paper on inattentional blindness called "Gorillas in Our Midst" that was published in 1999. They created a similar video of people passing basketballs to each other. You can see it here: http://viscog.beckman…., but there's no sound. You're supposed to do the same thing, count how many times the white team passes the ball.
Anyway, interesting stuff.
